Patrick has a passion for understanding behavior in cities and to support real-world decisions. At ETH Zurich, he created an agent-based simulation for the Canton of Zurich, predicting 30 years of developments. Before UDL, he gained professional experience as an urban planner across Europe and Russia and as a data scientist for the Swiss Real Estate Industry.
Martin is a spatial data scientist who loves to dig deep and develop geographically-explicit solutions on top of any data with a location. He is an open science enthusiast and a core developer of a range of open-source software like GeoPandas or PySAL, an invited speaker for many international networks and an active researcher.
